What is the need for it?

As we know HoReCa industry has a very frequent sourcing cycle it requires a lot of effort and skill on sourcing end to be good at it following are the common problems that businesses encounter on a daily basis-

Purchasing vegetable and other perishable products from Mandi- ideally Restaurant owner /purchase manager has to go to the mandi(wholesale vegetable market like apmc) every morning at 5 am (that's when the market starts) to negotiate and purchase fresh and good quality products for their restaurants HoReCa industry generally works till 12am in metro cities it make it very difficult for the owner to take time of business also hampers the quality of life.

Delays and inconsistency in products - As most of their vendors are unorganised players there is no accountability for operational inefficiency thus leading to delays and inconsistency in products

Dynamic price of raw materials - As most of their raw materials have a dynamic price buying at higher rate can cut into the profits as menu is no revised every day.

Multiple vendors - Handling multiple vendors is a task as most for these vendors operate vere traditionally keeping a track of order and delivery becomes a task.

How hyper pure can solve these problems ?

1.Purchasing vegetable and other perishable products from Mandi - with Hyperpure you can purchase products directly through the app no hassle of traveling and getting up early to purchase raw materials.

2.Delays and inconsistency in products - As all of these goods are purchased and then carefully segregated by Hyperpure executives customers could be assured of the products quality. As its an organised company with proven record in managing heavy ops customers can be assured of timely delivery of their raw materials.

3.Dynamic price of raw materials - As Hyperpure is also working on contractual farming with the farmers it can roughly estimate the price of certain goods and give a flat price to the customer through out the year for a fixed quantity. As it is doing BCP (Buyer catalogue profile) they can predict the demand and match the rates according

4.Multiple vendors - since it offers fore than 2000 products in various categories it becomes one stop shop for the buyers as they now only have to deal with hyperpure also all of the order data is stored in the app for the customers to review it and keep a track of their order

Let’s meet the Decision Makers πŸ‘₯

Narratives

Sushant(AKA SETH): Owner/Purchase manager (Decision Maker) πŸ™Žβ€β™€οΈ

Sushant, a busy restaurateur running a restaurant in a tier 1 city, begins his daily work by procuring and negotiating with various vendors for raw materials. He ensures that the buying price is sustainable and that the right quality of products is delivered. Apart from procuring and maintaining stock, he manages a diverse team of kitchen staff and waiters effectively. Sushant also focuses on meeting diverse customer expectations while maintaining authenticity, navigating complex regulatory requirements and licensing, balancing expenses, revenue streams, and financial sustainability. Additionally, he dedicates effort to promoting the restaurant through effective marketing and branding and maximizing operational efficiency during peak hours. Given his involvement in numerous crucial activities, he actively seeks something that can improve his efficiency at work. Furthermore, as restaurants lack dynamic pricing unlike their raw materials, he is searching for a vendor who can provide raw materials at a fixed price to ensure profitability.

Quotes and insights

"It is so unorganized that vendors end up providing more stock than demanded, leading to wastage, especially with dairy products."

"I want to have a single point of contact for all my kitchen supplies."

Conclusion: Prove that your product does what it says it does - Owners are looking for a tool that can help them improve their purchase experience and efficiency. Provide tools to compare and see actual benefits.

Pain Points 😠

  1. Quality Control: Ensuring consistent quality of ingredients from various vendors can be difficult. Inconsistent quality affects the taste and standardization of dishes.
  2. Fragmented Supply Chain: Dealing with multiple suppliers for different ingredients leads to complexities in managing orders, deliveries, and inventory, often resulting in inefficiencies and higher costs.
  3. Price Volatility: Prices of raw materials are subject to fluctuations due to factors such as seasonal changes, market demand, and supply chain disruptions, making it challenging to predict and manage costs effectively.
  4. Limited Product Availability: Some ingredients may not be readily available or may have limited availability, especially niche or specialty items, which can disrupt menu planning and operations.
  5. Trust and Transparency: Building trust with suppliers can be challenging due to issues such as inconsistent pricing, hidden costs, and lack of transparency in sourcing practices.
  6. Logistical Issues: Managing logistics for procurement, including transportation and storage of perishable goods, can be complex and time-consuming, particularly for restaurants with multiple locations.
  7. Time Constraints: Procurement involves time-consuming tasks such as negotiating prices, placing orders, and coordinating deliveries, diverting attention from other core business activities.
  8. Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring compliance with food safety standards, documentation requirements, and licensing regulations adds complexity to the procurement process and increases administrative burdens for restaurant owners.
